Instead of drafting professional football players, Draft & Roll lets you build a team from nearly any real person, fictional character, creature, team, group, hero, villain, or other draftable character.
The Character Engine analyzes each pick and determines football position eligibility, archetype, and hidden attributes so players do not need to understand traditional fantasy football strategy to compete.

How It Started
One question changed the draft board.
In 2023, while Nisha was pregnant with their daughter Beanie, Christopher was teaching her how fantasy football worked with a physical draft board. Somewhere between the player names and positions, Nisha asked why she could not draft someone like Thanos instead.
The answer was simple: that was not how fantasy football worked. So they started imagining a game where it could.
The first version lived around a table, with d4s, d6s, d8s, d20s, character positions, bonuses, and an early version of the Chaos roll. ChatGPT helped sketch some of those first dice rules, and family games helped shape what was fun enough to keep.
After Beanie arrived, getting everyone around the same table became harder. Family members also lived far enough apart that the game needed a way to travel without a box of dice. The idea kept coming back: what if everyone could play together from wherever they were?
In 2026, Nisha turned that old tabletop idea into a digital one, using modern AI tools as part of the building process and spending countless hours shaping the private-beta version into a full fantasy-football-style experience with drafts, lineups, trades, free agents, weekly matchups, standings, playoffs, and plenty of dice.
Created by Nisha and Christopher, with a whole lot of encouragement from the family who kept asking them to make it real.
The idea at the center is still the same one that started at the table: fantasy football is more fun when anyone can play, and you can draft anyone.
